After I finished all the firmware upgrades on both the controller and the APs, I had to reconfigure everything. Yesterday, I remembered that I was going to assign IPs to each AP rather than use DHCP. This worked fine until I got to the last AP and suffered from "fat finger". I assigned all APs with the 10.1.10.xx scheme. When configuring the last one, I inadvertently assigned it 10.1.102.24. My bad. Now the AP shows us as "Adopting" and is stuck there. Seems with the old Omada interface, I could go in and tell the system to forget individual APs. I cannot find that function in the newest interface.

Now I need to know how to fix the problem. I administer this site remotely. Is there a way I can reset this AP without having to go onsite and physically reset the thing?

@Somnus Just to let you know, I went onsite yesterday and fixed the problem by logging onto the network after setting my IP on the PC  to match the network that the AP had. As soon as I logged on it told me that the AP had been managed by a controller and would I like to reset it. I said  yes and about a minute later, everything was reset. I was then able to log onto the controller and adopt the AP,

On Controller Devices list, choose the EAP and on the right menu, click Config. On the bottom there is Manage Device option and here you can try forget the device. Not sure if it can work for you, since the EAP already lost connection to the controller.

Another solution, you can set up static IP on your computer like 10.1.102.xxx/24, and login the AP web interface. There will be a reset option on the web login page

  @Somnus You're right. All I get is a message confirming the MAC address and the model/firmware and how many days of uptime there are.

  @Somnus For this I probably have to go onsite. Setting my computer to a static IP would no doubt knock me off my own internet connection.
