[WAN] of Router is down.
Everyday, randomly, the WAN pretty of my router goes down. Sometimes it happens twice a day, always at random times. I've done multiple factory resets to no avail, even rebuilt the network from scratch (i.e. removed and reset all of my Omada hardware). I have an OC200, TL-SG2008P (both recently added) and 2 EAP620 HDs on my network. Issue was happening before I added the controller and switch. All firmwares are up to date.
I'm out of ideas on why this happens everyday.

Did you change any WAN related settings on the Controller before you receive the "WAN is down" log?
Generally speaking, the “[WAN] is down” log will appear in the following four cases:
- The physical link down occurs on the WAN interface
- The ISP line is disconnected and then re-dial
- The WAN interface is configured or modified, which triggers re-dial
- Controller issues WAN related configuration to the gateway
All other situations can be taken as abnormal. For example, modifying the client name may generate the “[WAN] is down” log, which is a known issue on the Controller side, and Controller v5.0.30 has fixed it.

Hello Fae,
I am experiencing the same issue as tayzer522. I have the latest controller and the ER-605 but with the 20210113 firmware ( I have tried the latest firmware and that was much worse).
At random times the wan will go down and it will have to reconnect with the ISP, fetching IP address etc. This happens multiple times a day and I have tried power cycling, then resetting switch(TL-SG2008P) , router and APs. Then I would reinstall Omada, adopt and the issue will still persist.

Also as a slightly better alternative you can downgrade back down to firmware 20210113 which helped me but I still experienced some dropouts. The most recent firmware for the ER-605 had me dropping out multiple times.

There is a definite memory leak for the TL-R605 v1.0 - firmware 1.2.0. The following 30-day graph shows CPU usage on the bottom and memory usage on the top. The two drops are the result of reboots that I've completed.

Yes add me to the list as well. I notice I will start having 2 or 3 drop outs a day progressively getting more frequent and longer. Every time I power cycle the router I won't have any issues for a few weeks then it starts again.

I'm having the same problem too. Everything works for a few weeks then bunch of disconnects from WAN getting more frequent until I need to do a reboot.
Hey TP-Link can you possibly fix this? There's a bug in your product.
