Confused with ER605 Download
Hello Community,
I am looking here:
Under "Download" it references `ER605(UN)_V1.6_1.1.1_20210723`
But when I actually click the file and download it to my local machine the filename is `ER605(UN)_v1_1.1.1 Build 20210723.zip`
Notice the discrepancy. My hardware version is 1.6. It says so on the box. :P However, the actual file that gets downloaded is v1.0. Consequently, after installing this firmware version, my machine is reporting 1.0.
So, very confused right now. How do I get the 1.6 installed on my new router?
Thank you for any assistance you can provide,
Michael

Apologies @Hank21 but I do not see where v1 == v1.6. If anything the notes you have shared contradict exactly what is being provided on your site. If I understand correctly, it explicitly mentions to verify the exact version of hardware. In my case it is v1.6, and the software being offered is v1.

Please don't worry about that, actually the small version number only serves to distinguish the place of production,
and ER605 V1 and ER605 V1.6 have the same hardware and software.
Best Regards!

@Hank21 Thank you for the update, it is appreciated.
If v1 and v1.6 are the same, why are you having the user select which version to use? This makes it even more confusing. At the very least what you have described should also be mentioned on the download page so that we are not forced to have to clog up your precious time here in the community and/or support channels trying to figure out why our new routers are "broken" with the "wrong" firmware installed (when in fact everything is "OK" :))
Thank you for any consideration.
