Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.0

Hi,

i have a printer EPSON ET-2760, and I can't connect to Wifi with my EAP660. It said on the printer: MAC Address of your printer may be filtered. Check whether your router/access point has restriction.

it work with my ISP Router/Modem (combo).

topology:

ISP router/modem to Safestream

Safestream to Swich TL-SG2008P

Switch to EAP660

EAP Wi-Fi setting:

Guest Network: Uncheck

Security WPA-Personal

WPA Mode: WPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE/AES

NO ACL Profile OR GROUP profile

MAC Filtered is disable

Update1:

I also setup a new SSID with Security None with no MAC filter.

I try to connect from printer again and still same issue.

Is the printer set up with a static IP？

Can it connect to the EAP 2.4G WiFi, not 5G?

Are there any advanced settings on the switch?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

Let me check. On the ISP is set to reserve IP. Should it matter ? Since I won’t be connecting to that one ? I did try to remove it and connect again but didn’t work. Where in avance setting ? EAP setup with 2.4 and 5.

So I create a new SSID no security with 2G band only and it can connect.

if I have 2G and 5G enable it does not connect.

I do not want to use 2 SSID.

will it work if I temp switch it to 2G, connect my printer, switch it back to 2G and 5G, will it still work?

anyway in OC200 setting to force the Printer stay in 2G?

also, I'm not sure but if I need to create another SSID just for the printer, does my other phone need to connect with that SSID to be able to print wirelessly ?

printer have no Ethernet port.

So I do have ban steering enable with max failure set to 5 and Difference threshold at 4. I try to connect 6 time and it didn’t work. So I had to remove 5G in wireless setting, connect the printer which work, enable back 5G and printer stay connect on 2G. Turn printer off and On to see if it can reconnect and still connect to 2G band.
