Custom Dynamic DNS Services
Hi,
i wanted to ask if it is possible to add custom DynDNS Services like i can do in my Fritz!Box.
It seems that i can only choose DynDNS, NoIP, Peanuthull or Comexe but i want to use my existing DynDNS service that i use for many years now.
Thanks!

I'd like to update this feature request here.
Omada Software Controller v5.8 and OC200/OC300 Controller v5.9 has added Custom DDNS feature for Omada Routers.
Please ensure that both your Omada Controller and Router are updated to the firmware adapted to Controller v5.8 or later version.
Note:
For OC200/OC300 controller v5.9, you may need to manually upgrade the firmware via local access as it is a major firmware upgrade.
FYI, the following router firmware has added support for Custom DDNS feature in Controller mode.
ER605 V1_1.2.3_Build 20230413 Beta Firmware For Trial (Released on Apr 14th, 2023)
ER605 V2_2.1.1 Official Firmware (Released on Jan 30th, 2023)
ER7206 V1_1.3.0 Official Firmware (Released on Mar 28th, 2023)

I also would like to see this feature implemented (in my case, I am using Google Domains)

I'm as well highly interested in this feature, but I use a OC200 Hardware Controller.

@Crispy_Bearcon Boosting this! I just went looking for the setting today on my OC200 and was bummed that Custom DDNS wasn't an option.

Signal boosting this too.
It's actually a little crazy that this isn't supported already...

Additional bump for custom dynamic dns. I use duckdns. This could also be used to deal with calling any type of operation when the WAN port reconnects, like just call a generic HTTP/HTTPS endpoint on the local network to restore the failover settings or something... or call Azure and update the IP to the new WAN ip. Or whatever
So basically give me the ability
- Use URL
- select HTTP method (GET/POST)
- Allow for frequency of updates
- Ideally include an option for sending an update when the WAN port changes
- Even better, the option above detects the WAN IP changing and sends the update then.
Example config screen:
Method: [POST v]
Url: [ ]
Frequency: [Hourly/Daily/Weekly v]
(optionally or later) Update on WAN change: [Yes/No v]
