Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

Hey,

After updating like a few hours ago to the new firmware of the Omada TL-ER7206, I was hoping that the speedtest issue (since the last firmware (and beta test) would be resolved.  Sadly even with the new firmware upgrade, on or complete Omada setup, speedtests are still failing.  Is there a solution in the making???

Our setup :

During speedtest :

Resulting in :

Router : TL-ER7206 Switches : T1600G-28TS and TL-SG2210MP AP's : EAP 620 and EAP 660 Controller : OC200

Update on the issue.

Obviously it was not the ER7206 firmware or the SG2210MP,  but to the OC200 controller.

Since the firmware upgrade for the OC200 (4.4.4) everything works great again.

@Peter-629 I upgraded my gateway to 1.1.1, and I don't have problems with speed testing:

Have you checked the logs to see if it shows a more specific error?

Main Gateway: TL-ER7206 Switch: TL-SG3428 APs: EAP620 HD x2

@Peter-629

This does not seem to be a setup issue.

Check the logs. Any error related to this? And, what's the Omada Controller version you have here? Hardware controller or software? Maybe re-install the software controller if you are using one.

Last firmware version and OC version? Not sure why you have this. any update on your Omada controller?

Check the internet connectivity. Maybe not connected to the internet? I don't think so.. hahaha

Hey Guy's,

Thanks 4 the thinking along, but this issue has been around since the previous ast firmwareupdate, where I already tried the betaversion.  So my speedtest aren't working for 2 months now. Here was the start of the problem https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/266210.  It was the only element in my omada setup that has been updated around the start of this problem.

The log only shows 1 error, that's the going offline of the 7206 after installation.  I'm using the OC-200 hardware controller with firmware 4.3.5.

I had no problems with the speedtest untill the last 7206 update. Then it was a know issue, where a betaversion was made.  Internetconnection and wifi connections all work fine.  The only other strange thing I noticed is that my POE switch (MP2210) is not showing download or upload ussage, but perhaps this is normal, because I only have my 3x 600 series AP's and oc200 hooked up to that one.

Today I've updated the 2210MP to beta firmware.  The 2210MP is now displaying correctly the down and up volume in Omada, but it didn't help the speedtest issue of the 7206.
