VIGI NVR1016H(UN) 1.0 can't see valid streams after reboot.
Hello all,
I am using a number of Tapo cameras successfully, both in standalone (Tapo app only) and also with the VIGI NVR1016H(UN) 1.0 as a recording device.
However, I am having a significant problem with the VIGI NVR1016H. I can add my Tapo cameras to the VIGI NVR1016H and it works very well, however if I reboot the VIGI NVR1016H, or if there is a power failure of any kind to the NVR1016H, the Tapo camera streams never re-appear, until I manually delete each camera from the list in VIGI, and add them manually again. Then the video streams instantly re-appear. Even with the exact same settings I just deleted!
This appears to be a firmware bug that is making my Tapo/VIGI setup unusable. Running the latest FW 1.0.0 Build 201224 Rel.40072n
FYI - I have static IP addresses across my network and I am advanced in IP networking. This issue appears to be independent of my network and within the VIGI NVR1016H itself - It seems unable to "re-acquire streams" after a reboot.
Also, all my devices have static IP addresses and my Tapo cameras are working with other third party devices, and RTSP/ONVIF capture software, without any issues. I am confident that the VIGI NVR1016H has a firmware problem, and I really hope TP-Link, or someone here can resolve this for me.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Cheers,
Pez
