Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20210512 Rel.47886

Hi mates,

I have a TL-R605 router which it is managed by omada hardware controller. This router is connected to two ISP modem with download speed 24Mbps and upload speed 2Mbps in WAN (default WAN port) and WAN/LAN1 ports. The ports status is the following:

How does this result arise?

In a different network which I managed with lower download speed (22 Mpbs in each ISP modem) the port status of WAN and WAN/LAN1 is 1000 Mbps.

Why does it happen?

I am confused!

@xperiments Hello,

I have the same, also two WAN ports. But both detect 1000Mb / s. I think the problem will be in UTP cables.

Hi there, do you mean that you have another 2 modems(modem 3 and modem 4), and when you connect the 2 modems with the ER605, you can see the WAN port status is 1000M? And the issue is that when you connect modem 1 and modem2, you see that the status is 100M?

You can try to connect the PC to modem 1 and 2 with the same cable, and then check the hardwired link speed on the PC.

TP-Link website has the instruction to help you to check:  https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2899/

Wish this can help you!
