Port Forwarding/ Virtual Server Omada Controller
Hi,
I have been slowly adding to my Omada set-up and just installed my last piece the TL-R605 gateway to go with a couple managed switches and EAPs in my home network. Everything has been pretty easy to get set-up and working. The only thing I can't figure out is the port forwarding within the controller software. It looks different than what I am used to and when I look up in the user manual the screen shots it shows are different (I assume they are showing logging directly into the gateway versus using Omada controller). The way the user guide shows is what I would expect but in Omada software it asks for a destination IP address as well and not sure what to use. I can't find an example for setting up within the Omada software online. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Dear @TheWookie,

Please check Page 107 from the UG of the Omada Controller below.
For Omada Controller, please go to Setting > Transmission > NAT > Port Forwarding to configure the parameters.
Here is a configuration example for your reference. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2132/
Note: the web UI is different, but the configuration steps for port forwarding are similar.

I think what you are looking for is as the following image -
Hopefully this will help you - the destination IP address should be the IP of which the service device is running on - This is just a quick setup I did to show an example

Thanks for the reply. I think what I am getting hung up on is in the new UI for Omada 4.2.8 there is an additional required box which is the destination IP address that I can't leave blank and that wasn't in the example provided or in other routers I have used. What I am trying to figure out is what should I put in there? Neither the LAN (of router)/ WAN addresses seem to be the right one so I am missing something that I am not understanding from the manual or the example. That seems to really be the only difference from my previous set-up.
Thanks,
