OC200: To update or not to update?
Hi.
Set up an OC200 and 3 EAP225's (v3) a few months back and everything is working great.
Anyway, I connected to the Cloud Controller from work yesterday and I noticed that there was a FIRMWARE update available (1.7.0).
I thought I'd do it when I got home, but when I check locally using the OMADA app on my phone, it says there is no firmware update available.
Can someone give me some advice of which is correct please?
Thanks.

@CBers, see this FAQ about upgrading to the new Omada SDN controller. Note that the SDN controller is a completely new product, not just a regular firmware update. You will have to update the firmware of your EAPs and the Omada app in order to make use of the SDN controller. Make sure to read the Omada Controller Upgrade Guide linked to in the FAQ before doing an upgrade of your OC200.

@R1D2 Thanks for that
I've had an EAP225 for a year or so, and only in the last few months have I added 2 more, plus the OC200, to create a MESH network at home.
I mainly use the OMADA controller app on my phone, but as I said, I used then Cloud UI yesterday when I saw the firmware upgrade.
So I have gone ahead and upgraded the OC200 to SDN and it is open in the UI now, but I can't login via the OMADA app on my phone - has that been removed ?
Where is the option to batch upgrade the 3 EAPs now please?
Thanks.

@CBers, please read the Upgrade Guide. I don't use Omada app, but probably it needs to be updated, too.
As for the batch upgrade option, please see the thread below yours: https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/229968
