I am trying to set up the CPE210 to extend my WiFi to my barn camera. I was semi-successful once it was connected to the computer but I was under the impression it could be connected straight to the router once configured? Is that not a possibility? I am not wanting it connected to my computer constantly.

If you configured the CPE210 in Access Point mode, yes it could be connected straight to the router via cable once configured.
