@OmadaSMS, SDN stands for »Software Defined Networking«. See Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software-defined_networking

Hi,
The Omada SDN Solution can manage Omada EAP, Jetstream Switch and Safesteam Router together, it will help us manage the devices easier. We will publish the Omada SDN Solution recently.

@jonas - I think you actually mean "shortly", which means in the near future, instead of "recently" which means in the near past. I saw this in other places in the forums and figured you might want to update your terminology.

@DataMeister, for most people here English is not their native language as you could see for example on »DataMaster« vs. »DatenMeister«.

@R1D2 - Normally I would just ignore a generic grammar or translation error, but I figured since I saw the same issue multiple times and since it was from an official TP-Link account, then maybe they would appreciate getting the language right in the future. I had a Chinese friend who was adamant about being corrected if we caught him speaking english wrong, so that is probably where I'm coming from there. Also, Meister is part of American english, even if it was adopted directly from the German word.

Google found a new promotional page for Omada SDN I think.
https://www.tp-link.com/us/solution/omada-sdn/
Near the bottom it seems to show six new products coming to the portfolio.

@DataMeister I've seen that on various TP-Link sites worldwide. But no answer on this forum from TP-Link when it will come available. First it was Q1, now Q2 has nearly passed... very disappointing if you ask me.

@jonas Do you know or can you guess if it will support current omada EAPs and jetstream switches or will it only support the new ones? Will there still be the option to self host as in will the omada controller be updated or will there just be a new cloud login? Will it support the fully L2 managed jetstream switches only or also the smart and easy smart ones? Thanks!
