Problem on firmware 1.6.1
Hi all and TP-Link developpers.
I experienced strange behaviour since i've upgraded all my AP to latest firmware ( 1.6.1 Build 20191022 Rel. 41405 ).
After 10 days of working, i've disconnection or it is impossible to connect without reboot or phisically disconnect AP.
Another problem was that, on one AP i cannot downgrade firmware (i tested on 3 only 2 was ok).
I have deployed 11 EAP225 outdoor (indoor, because of terrible indoor condition, aluminium in air)
Thanks for your help.

Do you mean after you upgrade the firmware, your clients have disconnection issue when they connect to this AP? We think it maybe not related to the firmware. We recommend you to disable Band Steering, Load Balance, Airtime Fairness. Then change the channle to have a try.

Do you mean you try to downgrade the firmware three times and only two times succeed? We recommend you to change another browser and try.

First, after upgrade from 1.6.0 to 1.6.1 EAP225-outdoor, there is connection problem : with 1.6.0 no problem reported, with 1.6.1 : disconnection. I'm going to disable what you said. But all the AP was managed by an OC200.
Seconf : on 3 different EAP225-outdoor, i've made a firmware downgrade. On one it's impossible of downgrade (file not checked or verify). I've tested on different browsers and the same result.

We make a limitation on the firmware 1.6.1. That is, when we upgrade to this version of firmware from 2018 or older version, we cannot downgrade to the older version again. If we upgrade to the latest firmware from firmware 1.6.0, we should be able to downgrade to the older firmware. We also notice this in the release note of EAP.
But we don't recommend you to downgrade the firmware, normally we will fix some bugs and add some new features in the new firmware, so we recommend you to use the latest firmware. And if you meet any issue when you use the new firmware, we will try to help you.

Just for the record: I have no disconnections on EAP225-Outdoor with firmware V1.6.1. We have several EAPs running for 50 days now with the new firmware.
