Hi!

 

what would be the problem?

 

configuration

1. network ip:192.168.1.x

2. eap ip: 192.168.1.200/gw 192.168.1.1/dns 8.8.8.8;8.8.4.4

3. with portal and created voucher

 

problem: device=mobile iphone can connect and with ip present but no internet and no portal redirection.

 

question:

do i need controlller ever 1 or 2 eap 110 outdoor device only?

If you want to set the voucher portal, you should keep the Omada Controller running all the time. 

 

If you don't want to run the Omada Controller, you can also manage the EAP in Standalone mode. In this mode, you can use No Authentication, Simple Password and External RADIUS Server.

Yes, for a portal with voucher authorization you need to run the controller 24/7. Consider use of an OC200 if your controller can't run 24/7.

hi sir tnx for the information, big help to me, im expecting that eap 110 outdoor and built in voucher creator  but its not.anyway im doing my testing of the device.
