EAP245 Question in using multiple access point with one SSID
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hello all,
I have just purchased and setup my first eap245 access point and its working great. I have setup only one SSID to access the network.
I was wondering if I were to purchase one or two more access point such as eap245's would i be able to merge the same SSID across all three of them?
Thanks in advance for your help.

@Kanny not sure what you mean with merge but if you want to have an extended coverage using one ssid yes they do that, probably you are referring to roaming. If this is the case your client will switch among EAPs while moving and if you have a controller hardware or software on, they will be able to use the fast roaming. To have the controller software on you need a pc always on in alternative you can use the OC200 as hardware controller, in any case even without a controller you will have a roaming function maybe just slighlty slower.
Also they support mesh that means that if your second EAP cannot be connected with ethernet to the switch the other EAP can talk with the secondary and extend it.
so if i properly intended what you want to do with merging yes they can do that
