@D-C definitely connected because if we don't have the switch and plug directly into wall port it's all good

@D-C are you saying there no solution other than to have the switch plugged into the router? is there no other possibility to have more than one connection in the lounge?

@D-C the router is in the garage where the fibre box is. We don't want it in the lounge as it's big and ugly 🤣 ( much to my partners disgust lol) I'm trying to find a solution so we can have more...
