In TP-Link's 2016 product guide they announced an OBS210/510, which was essentially a WBS210/510 with omnidirectional antennas. But this device did never get released. Thanks to TP-Link Germany I could test the new EAP110-Outdoor, which pretty much has the same weatherproof enclosure as the WBS/CPE series, but it features two 2x2 MIMO 5dBi weatherproof antennas and runs the EAP firmware rather than PharOS. The spacing between both antennas is slightly bigger as it is on WBS with 2 omni antennas - maybe it was needed for λ/2 distance for best antenna diversity.

Like its indoor variant it provides up to 300 Mbps wireless speed and is supposed to provide a long-range coverage area (will run some tests soon). Software is the same as in Auranet EAP110, so the device is supposed to be used in an EAP controller setup or standalone mode. It has 1x 100 Mbps ethernet LAN port and a grounding terminal. It is powered through a passive PoE adapter. Also included is a wall mounting kit and a metal strap for mounting on antenna masts. As with the PharOS devices, the EAP110-Outdoor has 6kV lightning and up to 15kV ESD protection. Dimensions of the enclosure are 209 x 95 x 42.6mm.
