Model : TL-ER6020

Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version :

ISP :

When configuring a site-to-site vpn the router asks me in each case for the other router's WAN address (step 8 "remote gateway").
In regards of security: Does it mean only someone with the given IP address may connect to this VPN?
[*]Can someone connect to a Site-To-Site (Mode: Lan-To-Lan) VPN using only a client?
I am refering to: http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-380.htm

Help appreciated. Thank you!

The LAN-to-LAN VPN means connecting two sites with a VPN tunnel. Assume you have two companies, one is the HQ and the other is the branch, now you want the traffic between the two sites go through VPN tunnel, you can use the LAN-to-LAN VPN. In you situation, you need to choose client-to-LAN VPN which is used for remote access for single devices like your phone or desktop .... Hope it can help you.
