I'm new to this managed switch technology. Here are the results from my cable tests. If I understand this correctly, there's a fault in almost everyone of my cables?

If someone can shed some light on this it would be appreciated.

Reg, cable test result is not quite accurate and it says it is just for your information in the user guide.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but it seems very close to answering the question:

 

What does this mean?

 

Yes, I understand that its accuracy is perhaps not to be relied on, but I still don't know what it is telling me. 

 

For instance if the TestResult is "normal" and the Cable Fault disance is "0", is that saying that the cable is probably bad or probably good?  What's the difference between "Open" and "No Cable"? It's just not clear for a novice.
