EAP772 (WiFi 7?) limits upload speed to 2,5Gbit Realtek 8125 NIC
I recently bought multiple EAP772 access points and discovered multiple bugs amongs which is one mentioned below.
So I tried to utilize full WiFi 7 potential using new devices and noticed that wireless upload speed to one of the servers (running in local network, which has Realtek 8125 NIC) is for no reason limited to ~100 Mbps.
I had EAP650 previously and this never happened on exactly the same network stack (AP is the only difference). EAP650 has 1Gbps port but I was able to utilize all of it (both upload and download) using the same configuration (5Ghz instead of 6Ghz but WiFi band doesn't matter for what I already noticed during debugging).
Download speed (from server (LAN) to the client (WiFi)) looks kinda OK (~1600Mbps on a single 6Ghz band, MLO turned off).
I just can't say the same about upload which honestly sucks and I don't know why.
Anyone else has this issue?
It looks like the whole TP-Link's WiFi 7 line of products is inmature and shouldn't be on the market yet... but here we are...
P.S.
I've also tested direct LAN<->LAN communication between server and multiple clients within the network and there is no such issue.
I've tested wireless speed to another server (1Gbit NIC) running next to the one with 2,5Gbit NIC - no issue.
To sum it up: problem is with wireless upload speed from client to LAN server running 2,5Gbit NIC
The reason must be somewhere within this access point I believe.
