Hi all,

I'm trying to setup a DMZ in public mode - so that there is a host in the dmz with a public static address. I read the manual several times - but I don't know what to do.

What I've done so far:
-enable DMZ
-set mode to public

What must I enter for the IP-address? Public IP-Adress? Do I need 3 public IP-Adresses (1 for WAN, 1 for DMZ, 1 for host in DMZ)?
I can get up to 5 IP-Adresses from my provider. Right now I have 2 - but if I try to enter the second one for the DMZ - there is an error message regarding a subnet conflict with some other port (probably WAN-Port).

All public IP-Adresses are bound to MAC adresses - is this a problem?

Can you please help me?

Regards,
Andreas

Not really, I used the private DMZ mode:
-different subnet for DMZ
-firewall rule to allow no connection from DMZ to intranet subnet
-virtual server rule to forward request to static-ip-port to dmz host
