Hi,

Im new in Omada hardware. Im bought ER7412m2 and change my old mikrotik. I use mobile data modem in Tmobile Poland. Its ODU 5g custom tmobile model. In my case I use APN data to public IP set VLAN ID and other VLAN ID to apn internet. So I configure WAN as dynamic data, VLAN and connect. I gave IP, mask and gateway and its fine. But when I use diagnostic ping 1.1.1.1 I have 40% packet loss, 60% and 0%. I try MTU 1500 and 1492 and is the same effect. Whats going on? Best Regards

Hi @monteros_007

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

4/5G celluar? It could be a signal issue.

You might wanna reposition the device for a better signal reception and test it again.

  @Clive_A Signal its very strange another I tested on Mikrotik and packet loss does not occur.

Ping statistics for 1.1.1.1:
    Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 100, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 44ms, Maximum = 72ms, Average = 52ms

Does this result come from the APN data that you had an issue with ER7412-M2?

With a computer to test the ping and Omada router connected, will this high-loss issue persist?

This the same settings APN data on mikrotik and tplink.

think: In mikrotik I use untagged vlan port but when I use untagged port in tplink he's change to tagged port. Do you think that's maybe is case?

Could be. But to my knowledge, if it does not work as a tagged port, it will fail to link to the connection phase, instead of randomly dropping your packets.

Do you have a config screenshot on how you configure your WAN? If you don't enable VLAN ID, your WAN is not set to be a tagged port.
