Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.27.6 Build 20241231 Rel.57711

Hi,

The topology map worked just fine, then from one day to the other, it stopped working. It happened somewhere around adding the 61st device but I don'1 know if there is any correlation. After looding the funcionality, I tried upgrading the controller for the above given version but did not help.

I tried restarting one switch but did not show up.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

P.

Hi  @Czega

You may refer to the following guide

Troubleshooting Topology in Controller Is Not Recognized Properly

If that's not the case, please let us know more details about the issue, such as:

What's the model number of the newly added device?

How is the topology not working? Please explain with some screenshots.

Wish you a happy life and smooth network usage!

  @Vincent-TP

The referred guide does not help since I don't have EasySmart, nor third party devices. All devices are Omada SGs and the 61st is of the same (five) model(s).

But anyway: the map is back again! In the weekend I turned off the 102400 kbps broadcast and multicast thresholds and some time after that I got back the map. Correlation is not guaranteed, however. I don't see how such a high limit would influence the LLD traffic between the switches. Might be a bug?

BR,

Peter

@Czega, maybe an issue with LLDP being disabled or blocked?

  @D-C

LLD is enabled and I don't think it is blocked but actually broadcast and multicast threshold was configured cca. the time when the map went wrong. Both limits are set to 102400 kbps that sould be way enough for this.

I thinik LLDP is OK because if you hoover over a port with your mouse, it says the right neighbor.

I'll try turning off the thresholds.
