Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.32.6 Build 20241101 Rel.41525

The Problem: Right now, finding a device you blocked a long time ago on the website is a hassle. You have to search month by month. The mobile app makes this much easier – you can find any blocked device instantly.

Idea: Make the website work like the mobile app by creating a special section just for blocked devices.

Suggestions:

  1. Smarter Searching: Instead of checking each month separately, make the website search through *all* blocked devices at once.
  2. A New List: Add a "Blocked Devices" tab or section on the website. This would show a simple list of all blocked devices, with information like their name, mac and when they were blocked.
  3. Easy Unblocking and Finding:
    • Add a search bar to this list, so you can quickly find a specific device by name/mac.
    • Each device in the list could have an "Unblock" button to easily unblock it.
    • Also add ways to sort the list, like by when devices were blocked or by their name.
  4. Handling Lots of Devices (Just in Case): If someone has blocked a *huge* number of devices, add features to make the list load smoothly, but this probably won't be necessary for most people.

Why this would be better:

  1. Easier to Use: Finding and unblocking devices would be much faster and simpler, just like on the mobile app.
  2. Saves Time: You wouldn't have to waste time searching through multiple months.
  3. Consistent Experience: The website and mobile app would work more similarly, which is less confusing.
  4. Less Frustrating: The whole process of managing blocked devices would be much less annoying

EDIT:
The image is just a sample of what I think would be much easier to access similarly on the mobile app.

  @Vincent-TP

I discovered a workaround to view all records within the date range filter. I know this is not intended behavior for the system and is likely a glitch.

  1. Set the filter to "Last 24hours" or at least up to "Last 30 days."
  2. Set again the filter and select a start date from the previous year.
  3. **Click on the selected start date a second time (this will become the end date). This will clear the end date field, allowing you to view all records.

Based on the list shown here, I don't appear to be encountering any slowdown in fetching the data, contrary to what I was told about large datasets slowing down filtering. Filtering takes only a second or two. Perhaps 10,438 records isn't a large enough dataset to cause a noticeable slowdown?

Hi  @PeEyhcSee

Thanks for your feedback.

Here are some points I want to clarify:

There is a blocked list and there is an unblock button.

For other requests, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.

Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Wish you a happy life and smooth network usage!

The screenshots you provided appear to be from an older firmware version. In those versions, leaving the start and end date fields blank might have allowed for an 'all' search. However, in the current stable firmware releases, it seems the date filter cannot be left empty. This requires me to search for a specific device within a 30-day range each month, which makes unblocking devices quite time-consuming.
