I have a TP-Link ER605 router and am planning to add an Omada switch.

I installed the Omada software controller to learn how it works, but it cannot be launched. I get an error message "launch failed" and "Details:
[2024-12-26 23:01:16] Port 27217, port 29810, port 29812, port 29813, port 29811, port 27001, port 29814, port 29815 and port 29816 are already in use. Release the ports and try again."

I have no idea how to resolve this and tried to uninstall the controller. But this is impossible because when I try, I always get an error message that "mongod" is running and I need to stop this task. But it is unstoppable. Every time I kill the task in the task manager, it restarts automatically. So, I looked for the installation folder of mongod but there appears to be nonene. It is also not among the installed apps.
What can I do to stop this task sand to uninstall the controller?

 Hi @VPinPanama

Please refer to the following troubleshooting guide:

What to do if you cannot find the page of Omada SDN Controller

Every time I kill the task in the task manager, it restarts automatically.

>>>What will restart automatically?

If possible, please also try with a different PC.

Or you can download the pre-release version in the following link:

Omada SDN Controller_V5.15.8.1 Pre-Release Firmware(Released on Dec 24th, 2024)

@Vincent-TP , thank you for your reply. My problem is not to find the controller page. I cannot launch it, and I cannot uninstall it.

The task that inhibits uninstalling the controller and restarts automatically after I kill it is "mongod", apparently a database manager run by the controller. I have read that it is also a service, but I cannot find it among the running services. It is apparently not even installed on my PC, it is not among the apps that show up under settings and could be uninstalled.
I may have installed the controller in the wrong way because I cannot launch it.

But it is impossible to uninstall it while the task is running.. The uninstall process asks to stop mongod, but this appears impossible as it will automatically run again after a few seconds, not enough time to uninstall the controller.
