How to Confirm that Switch is running Latest Firmware after Accidentally Installing an Old Version
I accidentally rolled-back firmware in our new switch to an old version because I misinterpreted the hardware version numbers. I eventually found and installed the correct version, at least I think i did but I am unable to confirm it. Can anybody point me to a webpage that shows the current firmware version? Our switch shows shows Hardware Version 1.2 on the label.

Hi @Tailwind
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
Go and filter with the announcement label and you will find a guide about the revision of the model name and hardware version. The current firmware for your model is the latest.

Hi @Clive_A
Thanks for help. When we received new switch, the first thing that we did was check hardware version number and search the web. I thought that I needed to download from Canada site because of French/English language regional subtleties in the hardware version. When I visited Canada site, it showed no firmware for our switch. So I tried US site and chose wrong version. Your reply solved all my confusion but my original search of the web kept tripping up on the 09-11-2024 date that shows beneath the "BUILD 20240528." I thought that this meant somehow that a newer version, 09-11-2024, was available and i was running version 20240528.

Good to know. Release date does not match the compile date. If you want to learn the latest firmware, you have an option to visit the global site.
