Complying with these can be a time-consuming process, which may lead to a delay in the availability of the firmware in the US compared to other regions like Canada.

2. **Localization and Customization**: - The firmware may need to be customized or localized for the US market to meet specific customer requirements or to adapt to the local network infrastructure. For example, there could be differences in the frequency bands used, power regulations, or support for specific network protocols that require modifications to the firmware. This customization process can add to the time taken for homologation.

3. **Supply Chain and Distribution Factors**: - The availability of components and the supply chain logistics can also impact the firmware homologation process.
