Hello. I'm a novice in these topics. 
 

I have a network switch from my internet provider to which I have my "house router" connected. Due to logistic issues I would like to connect my EAP225 outdoor with the poe injector  directly from this network switch. Is it possible?

When I do I get a WiFi network but I can't connect to it. Doesn't get an IP etc. 
when I switch to the "house router" it works immediately.

Is there a way to change the settings to get it to work directly from the network switch, preferable with the same SSID as my "house router"?

Thank you for any possible answer that could help fix this, or clarification that it can't be done.
