I set up an old mini-pc as a NAS using Open Media Vault. The NAS is on my Office LAN. The purpose of the NAS is to share program files with PCs in my Shop that control CNC machines. I am currently trying to setup the cnc router.

 

Office = LAN 1 (Wired network)

Shop = VLAN 44 (WiFi)

 

I have access to the NAS shared folder from my Office PC (both on LAN 1) but I cannot get the CNC-ROUTER PC (VLAN 44) to find the shared folder on the NAS.

 

I can login to the NAS from the CNC-ROUTER PC through a browser so I know they can communicate.

All Network Settings:

Public Folder Sharing - OFF

File Sharing Connections - 128-bit

Password Protected Sharing - OFF

 

Windows Defender Firewall

All Inbound rules for SMB are enabled.

 

With the firewall off I still cannot find the NAS shared folder.

 

What am I missing?
