Model: EAP670
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.4

The title says it all.  I've connected via ssh and tried to look at the contents of /var/log, but find that it's a socket, not a directory

/var $ ls -al /var/log
srw-rw-rw- 1 0 root 0 Dec 31 1969 /var/log

Where are the logs and how do I access them?

Hi @jhg6308

We are not able to access the Log file through SSH. If you want to check the EAP log, you can set up Log server and let the EAP send log to your server.

I tried that.  Enabling "More client detail log" logs EVERY SINGLE PACKET that passes through the AP.  That's useless.  With that option disabled, nothing seems to get logged.

@jhg6308 Any update to this?  I've had 2x EAP670's connected for over a year and there are NO logs anywhere either on the devices or on the syslog server.

@knightmare I gave up long ago and returned the device, replaced it with a Ubiquiti, which has been working fine.
