  @MR.S

well I did get the oc200 configured in the oc200

4 wan connections show connected

and 4 Vpn subnets

but when I plug more then one of the vlan ports into my netgear 48 port smart poe switch lights on the router er8411 and the switch start blinking fast and I loose all connections

this does not happen in stand alone mode

i have done many resets to get this far Any Ideas what I may be missing

  @spd2612

How do you configure VLANs? Please check if there is a loop connection on the internet.

  @Hank21

My wans which are 4 are all configued this way

This is VLAN20 which was the default and I changed it but I cant change the Lan interfaces on it oc200 WONT ALLOW IT I use this lan as a main one and for management

This goes out to the switch on lan5 port Is it possible that this is the issue because these are all selected

If it is I dont know what to do as I cant do anything with the default

This is VLAN30 which I can change the Lan interfaces and its output to the switch is on LAN6   I have a total of 4 vlans

  @spd2612

Is the router connected to the switch using two cables?  This connection will cause a loop. It will also prevent the switch and router from functioning properly.

  @Hank21

actually its connected using 4 cables each one for its own vlan

this is the way it is connected in standalone mode  with no problems the vlans in standalone are assigned to a single port but I cant do that with the oc200 because it wont let me change any of the ports in the default vlan

are you saying I should just select all ports in the other 3 vlans then just run a single uplink to the switch?

  @Hank21

is there anyway to disable the default lan?

i have spent days trying to make the oc200 work and it all comes down to all the ports are tied up by it and you cant designate a port to a different vlan

my 8411 works fine with muliple wans,vlans and port forwarding in stand alone

but at this point the oc200 is very much a paper weight

if i could disable lan1 and then put the oc200 on my own vlans i could make it work

I donr understand what the thinking is of defaulting all your ports to the default vlan and then those ports are not free for a new vlan

No. VLAN 1 never be disabled. Set the PVID when the router is adopted which is something I have explained in another thread from you.

This cannot be set until you have adopted the router. Port settings on the router. PVID. Set the PVID and it will be effective.

  @Clive_A

yes you have and that dont work I have set the PVID to 20 which is the default vlan

I can get on the internet The problem comes in is port forwarding dont work

I have a Esxi server with 8 vm's behind this it has 4 nics vm's have different local ip's

I am guessing if I had a Tp-Link switch it may work but I am not going to keep throwing money away If it works in Stand alone it should work with the OC200

just a note that I can ping all the subnets

And yes after 24 hours of trying everything and 10's of resets I am Quite frustrated

I have called business support and that was a waste of time

support got it locked up and got me to put a beta firmware on my 8411 which all that did was give me a confidential overlay on the screen
