How can I download a configuration backup file from an Omada controller? Whether it's the entire controller or the site?

I mostly use UniFi and with the UniFi Network controller, I go to Settings -> System -> Backups -> Download. Where is the equivalent in Omada?

you must log on to the controller locally, you cannot backup to a file when managing from the tp-link cloud

  @MR.S I only see the option to "Export to File Server" there. "Export to Local File" is greyed out. I need to be able to simply download a backup configuration file from the cloud portal. UniFi has no problem doing this, I don't understand the technical limitation here...

  @MR.S That's ridiculous - I don't understand the technical limitation of allowing a backup file to be downloaded via the cloud - UniFi has no problem doing this.

yes, I know UniFi can do this without problems, but this is not UniFi :-)

But if you turn it around, UniFi cannot take a backup of the UniFi OS when you are logged on locally, Only network aplication.

  @cbfs

Yes this is a major let down with the Omada controllers, and has prevented us from using this system at more sites.  It makes absolutely no sense to not be able to back up your system via the cloud, completely defeats the purpose of having cloud controlled hardware.  I do not understand why this has not been emplemented long ago.  We manage a lot of out of the area sites, and anytime we make a change on the sites system, we need to be able to update a backup file.  Last year we had to pull 23 new sites off of Omada and move them back to Unifi because of this.  I guess TP-Link thinks/wants only local/home users for their equipment...
