EAP653 2.4Ghz WiFi issues
Hi All,
I'm new to tp link hardware. Recently I bought Omada EAP653 and updated it to latest firmware EAP653(EU)_V1_1.0.9 Build 20230814.
I turn the device On in the morning and OFF at night (such a habit). When it starts everything works fine. But after several hours 2.4 WiFi stops connecting new clients. There's a message to enter Wifi password (?!) which was perfectly fine in the morning. When I connect to device and reboot it or force 2.4 wifi service to restart (change anything in the settings) every things backs to normal for another several hours.
What am I doing wrong ?

Sounds like an ARP cache timeout issue. I assume your EAP is connected to a some 3rd party router/modem device?

yes, the infrastructure looks like this:
Asus ax56u -> TpLink TL-SG108PE (for POE) -> Eap653.
But why should ARP cache would affect only 2.4ghz wifi ?

Are you briadcastingvthe same SSID from both Asus and TPlink EAP? If so, try using a different SSID for each and retry. I used to have an AC68U in my setup and it didn't play nice with TPLINK either.

Asus is acting only as router and both 2.4/5 ghz wifi are off. The Extend TTL value is enabled, maybe i should also enable Spoof LAN TTL value ?
In meantime I have updated the TL-SG108PE switch to the latest firmware, maybe this will help... .

I think it may be a limitation in the Asus firmware. Don't suppose you have a POE injector and could connect the AP directly to the Asus router's LAN port (ie remove the switch between the AP and router)

Unfortunately I do not have an POE injector. I will try to mess with settings and if nothing helps, I will consider returning it.
It's shame that there's no logs in console which could help to sort it out.
