Model: OC300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.18.2 Build 20230704 Rel.64637

Are the version numbers mislabeled somewhere? Asking because my OC300 shows

Controller Version: 5.11.10
Model: OC300 1.0
Firmware Version: 1.18.2 Build 20230704 Rel.64637

But the website shows that the most recent is:
OC300(UN)_V1_1.17.0 Build 20230328
Built-in Omada SDN Controller v 5.9.32

So as it looks at the moment, I have a NEWER firmware build number with an OLDER Omada version installed?

Is that even possible?
Is this a bug/typo in build 20230704?

I downloaded the lastest firmware on the site but when I try to apply it so that I can upgrade from Omada 5.11.10 to Omada 5.9.32, it tells me that build 20230328 is a downgrade and that I will lose all of my settings.

What is going on here? How can I upgrade from 5.11.10 to 5.9.32?

Nothing actually wrong here. I was misreading 5.1xxx to be a lower value than 5.9xxx. But really it's 5.11 and 5.9.

TP Link if you're listening, to avoid this problem in the future, you can label 5.9 as 5.09 and then it is obviously lower than 5.11 to all readers.

  @AaronSSH

Me too I'm voting for naming 5.09.xx.

But as per now on global site OC300 latest firmware is

OC300(UN)_V1_1.17.0 Build 20230328

while just a month ago I upgraded OC300 firmware ( through the cloud, i suppose ) and now OC300 is on
 1.18.2 Build 20230704 Rel.64637

which claims to be controller

 5.11.10

I cannot find anywhere those versions ...
