Moved to 5.12.2 from 5.9.31 and password stopped working
Hi, I logged into my Omada 5.9.31 installation yesterday and received a notification that 5.12.2 was available, so I upgraded. After the upgrade my password for the Omada Controller Web UI stopped working. I'm certain that the password is correct, as it was copied from a password manager and I had just logged in a few minutes prior. Even checked my password manager's history to make sure I hadn't unknowingly modified it and saved it, but that wasn't the case.
I moved back to 5.9.31 by reverting from a backup and the password worked again. Upgraded again and the password stopped working once more. So I'm back on 5.9.31 for the moment. Not a big deal for now as I've got both server and config backups, but I wanted to report it.
I haven't seen any other reports in the forums yet, so I suspect I may be in a minority of affected users.

Update:
I am now on 5.12.2, but only after a clean install of the Omada Controller and restoring settings from backup using the import settings wizard. I tried upgrading from 5.9.31 a third time and my password was still not working. There seems to be an issue with how the login data is maintained during the upgrade, at least in my case.

@Saamoss In my case I had a file level backup. I restored the folder which for me was in C:\Users\<username>\Omada Controller
There's also a shortcut that's put on the Public user desktop to launch it, which launch parameters were changed for. You'll have to restore that as well or modify the part that's changed at the end back to local-starter-5.9.31.jar

@Saamoss Sorry, yeah I'm not super familiar with the TP-link nomenclature and wasn't sure what OC200 meant. Hopefully you're able to figure something out.

download whatherver version you want from device support
https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/oc200/v1/
then install from OC200 console, not the cloud
when you finnsh you have to restore from your backup that match version you install.
as I remember OC200 reset to defult when downgrade if not do a factory reset before restore of your backup,

Guys, anyone has this package? Tp-link pulled it from their website. I have backed up on this version and reinstalled OS on my HomeServer, now I cannot restore backup on the version that is officially on tp-link. I really need this 5.12.2 version not to lose my config.
