Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20230313 Rel.00673

3 month statistics displays that memory is slow leeking on ER8411 (v1.0 with FW: 1.0.3 Build 20230313 Rel.00673).

It acts as an internet router with 8 VLANs and couple dozens clients. Now additional FW rules and VPNs is configure, The only DHCP server for 2 VLANs is enabled on this router,

I'd like to update the post with a solution here.

TP-Link has released the Beta firmware 1.0.4 to fix it.

ER8411 V1_1.0.4_Build 20230606 Beta Firmware For Trial (Released on Jun 7th, 2023)

 

You may take your time to upgrade the 1.0.4 Beta firmware and confirm the issue you encountered has been resolved.

It is still a problem across ALL TPlink routers as far as I know, here's my venerable ER605v1's graph...look familar (gap was the last Disconnect period)?

I don't have the same problem with my ER605 v1 leaking memory over time. Perhaps there is some feature or configuration you are using that has this problem and I am lucky enough not to use it.

 

To help TP-Link support troubleshoot this and maybe even to help yourself by finding a feature/config to disable, could you SSH into the router periodically and check how much memory is allocated to each process? Maybe you will find which process is consistently increasing its usage.
