Problem solved.
I did the default reset.
I made the Custom DDNS configuration for the DUIA as mentioned in the post. IP is updating normally.
Persistent error: log is not recording Custom DDNS events.

The forum does not allow posting links.
I'm doing the config for duiadns.
[USERNAME] and [DOMAIN]; united to compose the domain because duia does not have a username. Example: domain: 1testdomain = USERNAME=1 / DOMAIN=testdomain

Your domain name in Update URL does not match your domain name in the inside config:
duiadns [dot] net vs. duia [dot] us?
Try to use duiadns [dot] net for both entries - otherwise the DDNS service might be confused I guess.
Can you try?
Otherwise I've discussed this topice here already - in regards to the update URL and its variables:

https://www[dot]duiadns[dot]net
Use duckdns which is also giving error in TP-Link https://www[dot]duckdns[dot]org

I am using noip [dot] com which is a native, built-in service and it works like a charm.
There's a free account available, too.
I am happy with it.
If that helps...

The no-ip free account needs to keep confirming the hosts every month. I've been using duiadns and duckdns for years.

Your Update URL needs to be exactly in the format as described in the help section of your router.
Here's a screenshot for you:
As you can see, the URL you postes is fundamentally different.
In your case the URL needs to be:
Exactly like this.
Do not fill any variables or change anything else.
