I have an ER7206 V1.0 (firmware 1.2.3).

I setup an update of my public IP so that every hour it should updated to NOIP. I use SFP WAN as my main line and have a backup WAN. I noticed recently, my ISP is updating my IP quite often, for which I setup an update interval of 1hr (min available).

This update is not happening by itself, or at least it is not happening within the 1hr time frame. The only way is to force the update by editing and re-creating the service, then the update occurs, but obviously this is not the way it should work.

What can be the issue of why the DDNS update service is not working?

Is there a way of scheduling an update to occur whenever the IP is changed instead of at a fixed interval?
