I did reset the device.

The settings between the two EAP devices settings are the same (made sure about that.)

The PFM things are set to capable on both

I did see this reply on the on a facebook post where Sonoff posted this.

The device might be offline.

1. Due to L2 using 802.11b Wi-Fi standard, you should enable “legacy device support” when creating the Wi-Fi network. Please check the picture attached for reference.

2. Uncheck the option of “enable minimum data rate control” in 802.11 RATE AND BEACON CONTROLS settings. Such a method may work for other routers.

I am not sure how to perform these actions on the omada controller

This problem is caused by the WIFI standard of DW2-WIFI, since the DW2-WIFI uses the "IEEE802.11 b" wifi standard, we suggest you adjust the router setting in router management. also, you could enable "legacy device supported".

  @Coenie Try this to see if it helps, go to the WLAN settings for the network the DW2 devices will be on.  Expand the setting for "802.11 Rate Control", in the "2.4GHz Data Rate Control" check the box, make sure the slider is all the way to the left, and check the box "Send Beacons at 1 Mbps".  This should give full support for 802.11b.  It will also likely slow down your overall WiFi network speed, I'm not sure if it will only slow down the current SSID that you are editing or all SSIDs on 2.4ghz.

Also the Sonoff spec says to use either WPA or WPA2 for security.

  @Coenie A couple of addtional things you could try if any of these settings are on.  Under the EAP615 device settings, in the Config tab, set "Unscheduled Automatic Power Save Delivery" is off, and "OFDMA" is off.  In Site settings, under Advanced Features, Beacon Control, set "Airtime Fairness" is off.

These may already be off, and so may not be part of the issue.

Lastly, looking up the broadcast power of these sensors, they are extreamly low.  Your AP may be too far away, see if they are broadcast power limited by moving one to the same room as the EAP615 and see if it associates.

I have tried those settings also.

The devices are about 1 meter away, on the same table for testing.

Nothing seems to work.

I enabled that setting based on the feedback from others. it was disabled by default and that did not work.

This isn't going to help you but I'm having the same issue with an IOT device (Fitbit Aria). Cannot get it to connect regardless of what I try.
