I read that I could use two CPEs to connect two buildings in order to avoid running wire, so I thought to myself that it would be like a virtual ethernet. In other words, magically connect the buildings with networking in a way that is not visible to wifi devices.

In setting them up I see that I have to set them up as client and server and each one broadcasts its own wifi AP with its SSID. I already have wifi hotspots in the buildings. I don't want to add two more wifi networks to the environment.

Can I set these CPEs up to connect the buildings without exposing their own wifi networks?
