Hi everyone

 

I have inherited a T1500-28PCT switch.

 

I am trying to access the CLI or web interface on 192.168.0.1 per the manual at 1910012765_T1500 Series_UG.pdf (tp-link.com) but I cannot connect.

 

I have done a reset but and tried by directly attaching my laptop by ethernet cable but no luck.

 

Is there anything obvious that I should do?  I have connected the switch to the internet via a plusnet modem (plusnet is a UK broadband ISP) which utilises 192.168.1.254 which may or may not matter.

  @pjm002 verify if all the leds flash correctly like described in the manual, ensure there is no addressing conflict by unplugging yourself and the device from the internet. set your device within the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet. try again.

T1500-28PCT may have static IP 192.168.0.1;

That means you need to set up static IP on your computer, like 192.168.0.10/24. About how to set up static IP, you can refer to this guide.
