Hi,

Apologies in advance for my lack of understanding (newbie) on how things are suppose to work. I did search the forum before posting.

ER605 Router

SG2210p switch

EAP615-Wall

I've connected the switch (SG2210p) to the router on one of the LAN ports which is adopted and connected. Set up VLANs and ACL rules. All working as expected.

Now for the AP;

I connected the AP (EAP61-Wall) to one of the ports on the switch (SG2210p) however it does not show up in the Devices page. I am expected it to show up there and for it to be adopted and connected so that I can config wireless.

Looking at a number of YouTube videos they all claim to connect EAP615 to the switch and then the next clip shows then adopting/provisioning before proceeding to config wireless selecting VLANs etc.

Am I missing something here?

Should I be connecting the AP to the router and not the switch?

I can see it in the Clients page.
