Hello,

I bought this switch as, during lockdown, it became obvious that I needed ethernet cabling rather than relying on wifi. My house is cabled and, until I bought the stitch, the cables connected into the LAN ports on the back of my router.

I have followed the connection instructions to the letter. Needless to say, a device described as 'plug and play' is anything but.

I simply don't understand all the gobbldygook that passes as instructions. You need to be an IT specialist to understand the jargon, and I am a psychologist. So, no chance!

Can anyone help? I changed the IP address on the switch, however when I switch to auto DHCP it then acquires a different address to my router. There my expertise ends. I would be super grateful for some help and advice.

Regards,

Robert

Hi

No need to concern the switch IP address. If you just want to share the networks, just connect one port to your Router and one port to your PC, and enjoy it!
