Hi

 

In the Omada configuration, is there way to set the online detection ip-adresse for the WANs when configured with load-balancing?

 

I have found this configuration option on the ER7206 itself under "Transmission" - "Load Balancing" - "Online Detection" , so i know it is possible to configure it on the device.

 

i hope someone can help me

I have found this post, which seem to have solved my problem. I just had to set a custom DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) for each of the WAN ports.

I think what you're wanting is the echo server.  Click on the router in the device tab and go to config>advanced.

Thanks for the reply I have just tried the echo server with the ip-address: 1.1.1.1 I am not sure if the address can be used for that, but it did not work. one of the WAN should have been offline but continued saying online.
