Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.15.2 Build 20220323 Rel.60717

Controller Version: 5.1.7

Hi, im trying to setup guest access with portal on a remote site.

Site A - Controller

Site B - Guest Portal

Connected via Auto VPN Setup.

Initially i setup my controller port forwarding with port 29810-29814 without limit on source ip for adopting and port 443 with limit on source ip for upgrading/updating firmware. this work well. but the portal for site b are not showing. It does open the URL with my public IP on it but nothing happens.

Any additional port that i should open for Portal or am i missing something?

Thanks!

 Hello @Virgo,

In my case its your option 1.

In case someone have a similar configuration like me, here how i solve it.

I add port forwarding 8088 and it works.

Thanks!

  @Jeesoon1

There may be different situations to discuss.
1. If site B is also omada GW and has been adopted by the controller of site A, then you just need to do the corresponding portal settings in Site B.
2. IF the other end is a VPN connection with a non-controller managed gateway, you do not need to open the port, you can first test whether the client of Site B connected to the VPN can PIng through the IP of the controller?
If it can, under normal circumstances portal can be applied to this client by default.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
