Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I have two EAP245's that have to be mounted on the wall, close to the ceiling.

Will using a metal L-bracket such as this cause any signal problems?

The brackets measure about 8" x 8" x 1.5". The plastic mounting plate that comes with the units will be attached to the bottom of the L-bracket so that the WAPs will be oriented as if they were hung from the ceiling.

UPDATE (2022/04/25, 23:04:00):

I ended up using flat straps because the metal was thinner and the predrilled holes were a little smaller. So far, so good.

  @jeffshead

Hey

Just read this post now and simple answer is, no shouldn't cause any issues for you!

The AP is shaped that very little (nearly nothing) goes out the back of the AP, therefore any bracket there wont affect it what so ever!
