Recently installed EAP610 V1 ceiling, its work fine for a couple weeks. Yesterday i config to make a new Vlan and set it to "static address 192.168.0.254". After that i cannot reach it, cannot ping to it's ip, then i reset the unit. Then i can connect it with ip 192.168.0.254 but the message prompt "the unit cannot start properly. upgrade to the new firmware". I download latest firmware and successfully installed, but the unit do not show the login page. I can do nothing with it.

How can i do next?

Are you still able to Ping the 192.168.0.254 via static IP on PC?

If no, then you may need to check warranty service. From what I know there is no recovery tool for EAP.

 

You may need to connect your PC to the EAP directly to prevent any inflenece from your switch VLAN settings. Wrong VLAN will block the communication.
