Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

Omada version is 5.1.30

I have and ER605, with a SP2008P atttached.

I have a DHCP server set up on Windows, and each of the subnets matchihing the VLANS has been set  up.  this server is on VLAN 1

I have defined 4 new VLANs, 10, 20, 30m 50

Existing VLAN is 1

In the VLAN definition, I made sure to select the port where the SP2008P is attached.

I also defined the legal DHCP servers.

I then enable the port on the Sp2008P that I have a test PC attached to, and selcted the VLAN 30 VLAN

1. When I start the connection with DHCP on the test workstation, it does not get an address.

2. If I define a static IP (192.168.30.100) it works

I would expect, in defining the legal DHCP servers, that it would set up the relay from those servers to the subnet.

What am I missing?

@jwaltrip

IMHO: ER605 does not support the DHCP relay.

Do you mean the DHCP relay on your SG2008P?

Not 100% sure that is correct.  But not clear on it.

I probably need to wait until I replace the switch with Omada compat where the DHCP server is.  then I can test.
