Model: TL-SG1024DE
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20191128 Rel.43130

Hello everyone,

Really new here.

I am trying to connect 2 tl-sg1024de.

One is 2 years old (v4 firmware version 1.0.0) and other is brand new (v4.20 firmware version 1.0.0 )

The ports on both switchs that i am connecting, belong to vlans and the ports are untagged.

The issue is that the connection is not successful and the led indicators on old switch are blinking simultanouesly (both leds - really strange)

Can you help me  find what it is wrong?

check the video above

@alexkgr

Hey,

Two ports on these switches belong to VLAN, but untagged. That seems pretty wired to me.

Usually we setup tagged ports if you want to transmit VLAN data, especially the ports connecting two switches. Otherwise it will never receive by the second switch, just because you didn't setup 'rules'.

And talking about the blinking LED on the switch, looks like loop in your network. You can check on that.
