OC200 Weird Behaviour
I have some very bizarre network behavior with the OC200 that I can only describe as frustrating.
Hopefully I can keep this brief.
I purchased a brand new OC200 to control two EAP225's.
No TP-LINK Gateways or Switches involved here.
I power on the OC200, plug it into my switch on Eth1 interface of the OC200.
"OK great it will get a DHCP assignment, I can check the IP from my router and connect to the Web UI just like any other network appliance".
I navigate to the listed IP address of 192.168.110.2. Nothing....
"OK maybe a firmware update is required". Run the firmware update and the same thing occurs.
"OK maybe I need to perform a factory reset". Perform the factory reset. The same thing occurs.
"OK I'll connect directly to the OC200". This is where it gets weird....
I connect my PC into Eth2 on the OC200. I can see my 192.168.110.xxx network and talk to my router, ping my EAP225 and any other PCs on the network. Then I connect to 192.168.110.2 and all of sudden I can get to the Web UI of the OC200 and even ping the unit successfully. However the OC200 cannot get any Internet access at all or see any other devices. It's as if it can't talk to my network at all even though it has a DHCP assignment.
Then I take the Ethernet cable out of Eth2 on the OC200 and back into my switch. I then try to ping 192.168.110.2....nothing.
I try to connect to the Web UI again and I get a complete timeout.
Anytime I'm not directly connected to the OC200 I cannot talk to the Web UI or even ping the unit.
Anytime I'm directly connected to the OC200 Eth2 port I can see my 192.168.110.xxx network and talk to the OC200, but it has no internet access.
I am going insane here. Can anyone help?
